UP Weather: Two colors of weather, dense fog alert in 30 districts, cloud and rain warning in these cities, know the latest update of IMD

A warning of light rain and dense fog has been issued in different parts of the state on 23 and 24 December. Light rain may occur in some districts of western Uttar Pradesh on 23 and 24 December.

1. Rain in western and eastern Uttar Pradesh from 26 to 28 December
2. Fog in many cities including Lucknow-Ghaziabad
3. There will be severe cold in the state from the new year

UP Weather Rain Fog Alert:  Different colors will be seen in the weather of Uttar Pradesh from today, Monday. Today, on 23 December, there is a possibility of drizzle in some places in western UP, while the weather is likely to remain clear in eastern UP. During this time, there is a possibility of dense fog in some parts of both the parts. Due to rain, there is a possibility of a drop in maximum and minimum temperatures in different parts of the state.

On 24 December, there is a possibility of rain and thundershowers at some places in western and eastern Uttar Pradesh. During this time, there is a possibility of shallow to moderate fog at some places in both the parts during late night and morning. There will be light to moderate rain in western and eastern Uttar Pradesh between 26 and 28 December. During this time, there is a strong possibility of a fall in the maximum temperature and a rise in the minimum night temperature.

Alert of fog, clouds and rain in these districts of UP today

• Today, on Monday, an alert has been issued for dense fog in Ballia, Deoria, Basti, Gorakhpur, Sant Kabir Nagar, Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Siddharth Nagar, Gonda, Shravasti, Balrampur, Bahraich, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, Saharanpur and Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat, Meerut, Bijnor, Amroha, Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, Sambhal, Badaun and its surrounding areas.
• There may be rain in Aligarh, Mathura, Hathras, Kasganj, Etah, Firozabad, Agra, Mainpuri and Etawah on Monday.
• On Tuesday, there is a possibility of rain at one or two places in Etawah, Auraiya, Kanpur Nagar, Kanpur Rural, Jalaun, Jhansi, Lalitpur, Mahoba, Hamirpur, Fatehpur, Banda, Kaushambi and Chitrakoot.
• On Monday, there are chances of rain in Noida-Ghaziabad. The maximum temperature in both the cities is expected to be 17 and the minimum temperature is expected to be 9 degrees. There will be fog in Lucknow in the morning and evening but the sky will be clear during the day. The maximum temperature will be 24 and the minimum temperature will be 9 degrees Celsius.

UP Weather: Clouds and rain this week, cold and cold wave from next week

• On 24 December, some districts of western and eastern Uttar Pradesh may receive light showers and thundershowers. During this time, fog is expected in the morning and night.
• The weather will be clear in western UP and eastern UP on December 25. There is a possibility of shallow to moderate fog in eastern UP during late night and morning.
• On December 26, there are chances of rain and thundershowers at some places in western Uttar Pradesh, while the weather may remain clear in eastern Uttar Pradesh. There is an alert of shallow to moderate fog in both parts during this period.
• Due to the effect of Western Disturbance becoming active around 27th December, cloudy weather with light to moderate rainfall is expected on 27-28th December and there is a strong possibility of a drop in maximum temperature.
• From 29-30 December, the weather will again start becoming dry and the effect of cold will increase due to the fall in minimum temperature.
